Murphy Group Show Reminder

Since it's coming up very soon, I thought I'd post all the info on the upcoming Murphy Fine Art Group show that I am exhibiting the above 2 pieces in. Mark Murpy did a little writeup about me for the show. For those of you in Miami during the first week of December, be sure to check it out! Here is the booth and show info. I'll have the drawing and painting for sale at that show, plus some freebie postcards for anyone who stops by the booth.

Murphy Fine Arts and curator/publisher Mark Murphy will be exhibiting this year at Aqua Wynwood Art Fair December 3-6. The booth space is located at No. 44a and 44b, sharing with Galerie D’Art Yves Laroche.

Featured artists represent the best in emerging contemporary arts, showcasing a mix of graffiti, stencil, pop art and collage. A week ago...

...can't believe it's already been a week! My first trip to New York was unforgettable, but way too short. I know I'll have to go back again soon. I don't normally do picture posts, but thought that this event merited one. Here are a few pics from opening night that I scavenged from around the net, as well as some random shots from the gazillion that my sister took, haha.

The architecture in this city is unbelievable and so inspiring (I know I have to use it in future work).


The Yankees won the World Series while we were there, and had a huge ticker-tape parade. We didn't see it, but we did get to walk the streets after it was over. The aftermath of the parade had a 'snow' effect on some of the architecture.



The above pic kind of feels as cold as it was over there! Cab drivers kept telling us it was like a summer day for them, but I was frozen solid.



My sis and my folks got to go to Central Park on Saturday, and she got this wonderful shot. She also captured the texture of the statue in the next one. I love how weathered it is.






I didn't get to see the Statue of Liberty on this trip, but it appears that my sister did. Haha..
